Warehouse parties have gone mental. This summer, massive events like Sunrise have summoned thousands, in buses and car convoys, to aircraft hangars in the countryside for all-night house sessions. The tabloid press and the police are going wild trying to stop them – but can they crush a phenomenon that has been growing for ten years?

Spike Jonze’s feature film rendition of Maurice Sendaks classic story Where The Wild Things Are has hit movie theaters worldwide.

The film represents years of work from hundreds of different artists, writers, photographers, musicians, actors, and creators of all degrees.

This place has been established to help shed some light on many of the small influences that converged to make this massive project a reality.

Despite being considered to be the evolutionary kings of the jungle, we often distinguish ourselves by displaying behaviors contrary to the qualities of civility or higher culture that are presumed to set us apart from animals. Pardon me, I am just not feeling like myself today examines our primitive tendencies to violence, isolation, selfishness and fear and those times when we seem to embody the beast side of the man/beast continuum.
